Please join the Project on Middle East Democracy and the SAIS International Development Program for a discussion about the inclusion of moderate Islamist political parties and whether they strengthen or threaten democratic institutions in the Middle East and North Africa.

The discussion will feature:

Anthony Chang, Deputy Director for the Europe Division of the International Republican Institute (IRI), oversees IRI"s Turkey program from Washington.

Matthew Frumin, Senior Advisor, National Democratic Institute (NDI); Member of recent international mission to assess and monitor this month"s elections in Morocco.
