Draaw Prosecution in Aswan governorate decided to release three detainees and detain Mohamed Abou Al-Aula, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) candidate in the recent municipal elections, for 15 days after storming their houses on Friday August 22.

The released are: Farouq Fathalla Bahr in Kema area (the manager of a secondary school and MB candidate in the recent municipal elections), Hussein Mahmoud (a driver), and Ahmed Abdul-Harith, a mosque imam and a candidate in the municipal elections.

Mohamed Abou Al-Aula’s lawyers had accused the state security officer who stormed Abou Al-Aula’s house of seizing his personal computer, his printer, a video and two mobiles, without recording them in the prosecution.

Each of Mohamed Abou Al-Aula and Ahmed Abdul-Harith introduced their candidature papers of the recent municipal elections, but the SSI have forced them to waive the nomination.
