GAZA, The federation of the Palestinian professional syndicates have hailed Saturday the steadfastness of the Palestinian people on their land in occupied Palestine, urging the Palestinian people to unite in confronting the atrocities of the Israeli occupation government.

The federation also denounced the Israeli crimes and human rights violations against the Palestinian citizens in the 1948-occupied Palestinian city of Akka, revealing that Palestinians in the city were beaten and wounded, and their homes were attacked and smashed at the hands of the Israeli extremist groups with full support from the Israeli occupation police.

"The federation was anxiously observing the escalation of Israeli attacks on Akka city, and the wounding of tens of Palestinian citizens at the hands of Jewish extremists that fall in line with Israel"s crimes and racist practices against the indigenous inhabitants of the city with the aim to force them out of it and to confiscate their lands and homes in clear undermining of international laws and human rights conventions", a statement issued by the federation, and a copy of which was obtained by the PIC, underlined.

Moreover, the federation opined that the events in Akka were "real and practical translation to the Annapolis conference that considered Israel as a homeland for the Jews, which mean that everything not Jewish must be uprooted and destroyed". It called on the international community to immediately move in order to bridle the Israeli hostile attacks on the city.

At the same time, the gathering condemned the unexplainable Arab and Muslim silence regarding the events in Akka, asserting that such unsolicited passive stand "would encourage the criminals to continue their crimes", warning of possible popular revolt against the occupation if such crimes persisted.
