Alexandria University’s Professors Signing To Hold General Meeting

Dr. Abdullah Sorrour, professor in the Faculty of Education in Alexandria University, and  the  spokesman of the National Commission for the Defense of the University, said: " The professors of  Alexandria University succeeded in collecting more than 1,000 signatures; as a step to send a request to the Ministry of Social Solidarity to hold the general meeting of the University Staff Club; for electing new members for the club"s board of directors; after the resignation of Dr. Osama Al Fouly, president of the club, few months ago on the basis of the general meeting"s claims to drop the club"s board of directors, which forged the elections that took place two years ago."
 
Abdullah Sorrour pointed out that the scenario will be repeated this time, as the Social Affairs will reject the request, and teachers will face this rejection by sending a warning to the ministry, then the ministry will reject it, and then professors will hold their own elections by themselves.
