The Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine – General Command has underlined that re-structuring and reactivating the PLO would serve as clear signs for the success of the national dialog.

Louay Qarayuti, in an interview with the PIC, said that his Front was a member of the PLO but suspended its membership in 1983 after it had felt that a certain group within the PLO was influencing the decision-making process.

Asked on the Egyptian draft proposal on a Palestinian national conciliation, he said that it carried many positive points that could be discussed at the expected dialog.

Qararyuti asked the Palestinian factions to play an effective and positive role in the national dialog so as to end the state of division, and added that these factions should not be a stumbling bloc in the way of an agreement but should rather help in achieving it.
