Egyptian security forces have arrested 18 of MB students from Damietta university after they held a conference celebrating the end of the campaign of "let’s reconstruct Gaza" which was launched by students after the Israeli aggression on the Strip and the huge destruction it resulted in.

Eight students are detained in Damietta police station, while the rest are detained at the State Security Service in Damietta.

Among detained students Ammar Haidar, Musad Ghandour, Saad Mashaal, Mohamed El-Day, Mohamed Eshra, Mohammed Badran,  Islam Eldeeb and Hesham Mohammed Ali Zaher.

It is worth noting that Egyptian Universities are being under great repression aiming to eliminate all student activities and eliminate students’ freedom within the walls of universities, as the administrations of the universities allow the security forces to arrest students by universities’ guards in addition to dismissing and transferring dozens of students for investigations because they have expressed their opinions and views.
