Al Fayyum MB Detainee Released

The Higher State Security Prosecution in Cairo released sheikh Azmi Ahmed Abdul Tawwab on 100 pounds bail. Sheikh Azmi, a Muslim Brotherhood detainee in Al Fayyum, appeared before the prosecution on Tuesday and it released him because the charges against him are groundless and what were confiscated from his house were only old books; thus he was released after remaining 1 ½ months

The Higher State Security Prosecution in Cairo released sheikh Azmi Ahmed Abdul Tawwab on 100 pounds bail.
 
Sheikh Azmi, a Muslim Brotherhood detainee in Al Fayyum, appeared before the prosecution on Tuesday and it released him because the charges against him are groundless and what were confiscated from his house were only old books; thus he was released after remaining 1 ½ months in jail.
 
It is worth mentioning that the State Security Police detained 10 Muslim Brotherhood leaders in Al Fayyum last Feb., 15 and released Mostafa Atiya for health reasons after he had a heart attack in prison and was sent to hospital in a serious condition; then he was released to complete his treatment; Al Fayyum Criminal Court issued a ruling of immediately releasing other eight defendants last Sunday March 25 and canceled the prosecution decision of prolonging their detention for 15 days; however, the State Security Police in Al Fayyum sent them to Damou prison; it still refuses to release them in spite of the court ruling of immediately releasing them.
