Member of the MB Parliamentary Bloc and Parliament Health Committee Dr.Mohamed El-Beltagy denounced security forces’ prevention of a protest organized by doctors Tuesday, April 14, in front of the Parliament to request their rights.

“We absolutely refuse any use of force against doctors or their humiliation,” El-Beltagy said in his statement to Ikhwanweb disappointed that the Egyptian regime knows no other language than that of force and security bullying in dealing with all the sectors of society.”

El-Beltagy further affirmed his and other MPs’ solidarity with doctors’ requests pointing out that, in addition to their participation in doctors’ protests and events, they will continue to defend their requests in the parliament.

To prevent a doctors’ protest in front of the parliament last Tuesday, the security apparatus had surrounded Qasr El-Einy street and other branching streets leading to the parliament arresting a number of doctors especially from Damietta and seizing the placards they had been carrying with them.
