School field trip cancelled among allegations of belonging to Muslim Brotherhood

The travelling group included five supervisors and thirty-two students. However, the students registered were arrested at the youth hostel in Marsa Matrouh while the five supervisors were detained in Matrouh Security Directorate.

Families of students attending the Islamic Preparatory School received a phone call at dawn from the Security Directorate in Marsa Matrouh instructing them to collect their children.

The children"s parents gathered in front of the school building at Sorour Square , Damietta where they then traveled to Marsa Matrouh.

   
It is worth mentioning that the school formally organized the trip a month ago. Furthermore, the Directorate of Education in Damietta received consent from parents.
