Renewal of detention for three highly ranking Muslim Brotherhood leaders

The Supreme State Security prosecution decided today, that three Muslim Brotherhood high ranking leaders remain in custody for a further fifteen days under investigation. They were accused of the same indictment similar to that of Dr. Abdel Moneim Abul Futuh, Member of the Executive Bureau of the Muslim Brotherhood and his brothers. The Supreme State Security prosecution decided today, that three Muslim Brotherhood high ranking leaders remain in custody for a further fifteen days under investigation. They were accused of the same indictment similar to that of Dr. Abdel Moneim Abul Futuh, Member of the Executive Bureau of the Muslim Brotherhood and his brothers. The detainees Khaled Al Sayed Al Beltagi (Cairo), Adel Abdul Rahim Afifi (Giza), Deputy Head of the MB administrative office in Ismailia, Mohamed Taha Wahdan have been deported to El-Marg prison.
 
On another note, the prosecution today embodied the detainees in Abul Fotouh’s list after the Criminal Court of North Cairo had issued their release the day before yesterday. They were among the nineteen arrested from the Muslim Brotherhood  in a raid campaign held at their houses on the 3rd March 2009. 

Ikhwanweb reported that the three Muslim Brotherhood detainees have abstained from answering any questions and accusations from the prosecution in relation to fund-raising and money laundering from abroad in order to finance activities of the outlawed Brotherhood as they are completely untrue.
