Abul Fotouh’s relatives and friends banned from visiting him

Dr. Abul-Fotouh is now lying in hospital amid tight security. Doctors monitoring his condition report that he is stable now as tests are being conducted daily upon him. Because of his sleeping apnea, there is close supervision ensuring the safety of his breathing via his own artificial respirator.

The security services prevented friends and relatives of Dr. Abdel Moneim Abul Fotouh, Member of the Executive Bureau of the Muslim Brotherhood, and Secretary-General of the Arab Doctors Union from visiting him in Kasr Alainy hospital allowing only his children to visit him.
 
 Dr. Abul-Fotouh is now lying in hospital amid tight security. Doctors monitoring his condition report that he is stable now as tests are being conducted daily upon him. It should be noted that Dr. Abul Fotouh who was detained in (the Case No. 404 for 2009 State Security) had been transferred yesterday from Torah Prison to Kasr Alainy hospital because of his condition, requiring intensive and suitable medical care along with the regular maintenance of his own artificial respirator.
