The Muslim Brotherhood strongly condemns the terrorist attacks that were launched by suicide bombers which set off explosions at two hotels Friday morning. Eight people were killed and a further fifty-three people were wounded, including foreigners and Indonesians. This is Indonesia "s worst terrorist attack in four years, the national police chief told reporters.

Dr. Mohamed Morsy, the Muslim Brotherhood (MB) Executive Bureau member, claimed in a statement to Ikhwanweb, that this despicable and shameful act of violence targeting innocent civilians is a clear violation of Islam. Our religion calls for preserving the sacredness of human life, such terrorising acts serve only the enemies of Muslims all over the world. We, the (Muslim Brotherhood) offer our condolences to the victims and their families and we anticipate that the offenders be brought to justice for swift punishment.

It should be noted that the two bomb blasts were at, the JW Marriott, and the Ritz-Carlton in Jakarta "s main business district.
