Re-arrest of former parliamentary candidate and transfer to Wadi el-Notron.

The Minister of Interior has ordered the re-arrest of Dr Mustafa Diab to serve a second term in Wadi el-Notron Prison. Diab had served a prior 70 day term after being transferred to the Prison following illegal detention in state security headquarters.

The Minister of Interior has ordered the re-arrest of Dr Mustafa Diab to serve a second term in Wadi el-Notron Prison. Diab had served a prior 70 day term after being transferred to the Prison following illegal detention in state security headquarters.

A former candidate running for the 2005 parliamentary elections to represent Kafr Sakr in Sharqia, Diab had his clinic barbarically raided August 27 and was arrested with no accusations except that he was organizing the annual contests for Ramadan.
