Ikhwanweb congratulates Dr Gamal Heshmat on his release and on his safe return home after Interior Minister orders his release due to health reasons. Heshmat was transferred to Damanhour State Security headquarters where he was later released making his way home to his family. During his confinement he suffered health mishaps including a broken wrist and a slipped disc.

In a related context the Interior Ministry ordered similar releases after defense filed appeals contesting the continued detention of the Muslim Brotherhood leaders after former release orders were ignored. The released detainees who were arrested on June 19 with executive bureau member Mahmoud Hussein include:

Dr Ali Ezz el-Deen Thabet

Khalaf Allah Behnsawi

Ammar Hassan Hanafi

Amid warm wishes on the safe return home of the detainees Ikhwanonline prays that all the other innocent detainees receive similar release orders and return home to their families.
