MP Jamal Al-Khudari, the head of the popular anti siege committee, has urged donor institutions to open offices in the Gaza Strip to boost the steadfastness of the Palestinian people in face of the Israeli siege. Khudari, in a statement at the opening ceremony of the 'Aman Palestine' Malaysian institution's office, pointed out that the office is the first for a Malaysian institution in Gaza under siege. He hailed the role of many Arab, Islamic and foreign countries in support of the Palestinian people. The lawmaker said that Arab and Islamic countries own the material, political, moral and economic potentials and could support the steadfastness of the Palestinian people if they owned the will to do so. Khudari proposed numerous projects that could be launched even under siege in Gaza such as land reclamation, reconstruction of partially destroyed homes, supporting unemployed workers and others. |
