IOA orders administrative detention of mayor's wife
The Israeli occupation authority (IOA) has held Muntaha Al-Tawil the wife of detained mayor of El-Bireh Sheikh Jamal Al-Tawil under administrative detention.

Officials at lawyer Jawad Bulos' office in occupied Jerusalem asserted that the Israeli prosecution refused to release Muntaha after the court on Sunday adjourned her case till next Thursday, adding that she was held in administrative custody. The IOA arrested Muntafa from her home last Monday detaining her in Talmund Jail. Muntaha is a well known syndicate activist and is concerned with the issue of Palestinian prisoners in IOA jails. Sheikh Tawil, asked the human rights groups to swiftly intervene to ensure the release of his wife. |
