State security began another arrest campaign in more of Egypt's governorates late last night. Arrests and home ransacking continued as the number of MB detainees escalated.

State security began another arrest campaign in more of Egypt's governorates late last night. Arrests and home ransacking continued as the number of MB detainees escalated.

Intense house ransacking and invasions were witnessed in Gharbeya and Aswan as security forces searched rooms and overturned belongings of those who were involved in supporting Palestine and the Aqsa Mosque.

19 Businessmen, teachers and doctors were among the detainees. One detainee asked for an arrest warrant and was presented with a list which included 30 names on it.

 Azim Shaltout a teacher. was absent during the raid on his house where forces arrested his son instead as a pretext for the teacher to turn himself in.

Ikhwanonline the (Arabic brotherhood's website)correspondent Hamdy Taha Ahmed from Aswan was among the arrested men.
