Egypt: MB MP takes to the street with workers protests and demands
Human rights organizations, activists, students, and parliamentarians, are expected to participate on Sunday in a mass demonstration in front of the Ministers' Council to demand their minimum and rightful wage of LE 1200 per month

MP Yosry Bayoumi, from the Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc will take to the street and join forces with the workers. The vigil is expected to pressure the government into fulfilling their obligations and implementing the terms agreed upon by the judiciary and approved by the Egyptian Constitution concerning wages. In a statement to 'Ikhwanweb' Liberal party leader Mohamed Dorra announced that the trade unions and opposition political parties organized the demonstration urging the government to commit to the constitution and to give the workers their due which should be in proportion to the incredible prices which continue to escalate on a regular basis. |
