The conference which is to be conducted by Sheik Yusuf Hamza and Dr. Tarek Ramadan, grandson of the Muslim Brotherhood founder Hassan El-Banna, will be attended by politicians, policy makers, scholars, and representatives from the media. It is expected to be an intense and groundbreaking moment in Western Muslim History.

The exclusive gathering is scheduled to take place on May 26th 2010, as the 2 most prominent Muslim scholars of the western world, engage in a historic assembly of thoughts and minds at Oxford University , the world's foremost centre of knowledge and academic excellence.

Topics to be discussed include, What is reform? What is legitimate reform? What are its spheres and remits? Why have reform movements been met with distrust and trepidation by the Muslim grass-roots? What roles, if any, should governments play in Islamic reform? And what are the challenges they face?
