AMMAN,  Dr. Dima Tahboub, a noted Palestinian political writer, stated Saturday that the logic of power used today by liberal or extremist Israeli politicians alike is the same one inherited from Ben-Gurion while the logic of settlement bequeathed to the Palestinians inflicted on them more humiliation, vulnerability and calamities.

In a press statement to the Palestinian information center (PIC), Tahboub highlighted that the most important lesson the Palestinians and Arabs must learn from the anniversary of the Nakba (catastrophe) is not to deal with the meter of years with the logic of despair, surrender and making concessions on the national rights at the pretext that it is the best possible thing in hand.

She also said that the policy of low ceiling pursued by the Palestine liberation organization (PLO) and the Palestinian Authority (PA) is the thing that led Israel to revive the idea of transfer and the alternative homeland, and to expand its settlements.
