The University's legal affairs committee had sent out letters informing the students of their decision making it difficult for them to appeal the resolution. Students rallied outside the Dean's office and lined up in corridors while being surrounded by the university's guard.

According to students no legitimate investigations were made and decisions were based on orders from a higher office, making it a breach of the university's regulations.
