The two leaders and their respective delegations discussed political freedom and measures to acquire it
Badie stressed the significance of opposition support and unity in the face of corruption, suppression and tyranny by the ruling regime. He ascertained that the continued support of opposition trends and national unity would ultimately pressure the authorities to lift its iron fist and grant people the political freedom necessary to guarantee a healthy environment
Both leaders maintained that an agenda had to be designed to enable the groups to meet with the extended emergency law and to discuss practical procedures for it |
