Greece summons Israeli ambassador over attack on Freedom Flotilla

The Greek foreign ministry has summoned the Israeli ambassador to Athens over the Israeli attack on the Freedom Flotilla that left tens of martyrs and wounded in lines of the foreign solidarity activists on board.

The Brussels-based European campaign to end the siege on Gaza said in a press release on Monday that the Greek government formed an emergency committee to follow up the Israeli aggression especially when Greek MPs were on board the Flotilla.

Al-Jazeera TV network reported that the Greek government halted its participation in joint aerial maneuvers with the Israeli army in the wake of the attack.

Similar news were reported on summoning the Israeli ambassadors to Turkey, Spain, and Sweden over the same incident that occurred at dawn Monday.
