The protest came in response to police threats to the victim's family to withdraw the filed complaint. Salah was immediately transferred to the Salam Hospital in Mansoura after he was thrown from the fourth floor resulting in numerous breaks in his bones. A complaint was submitted by his family accusing policemen of beating and torturing him. Policemen took Salah to the Police Station after he insisted they pay fare after driving them to their destination. He was brutally beaten and thrown off the balcony. |
