RAMALLAH, --Zionist settlers stormed the village of Al-Mughir in northern Ramallah on Sunday and wreaked havoc in olive fields, cutting trees, and stealing the harvest.

Eyewitnesses said that the settlers prevented farmers from reaching their land near the settlement of Adey Ad, which was originally established on Mughir lands, and warned them of being harvesting their crops.

Faraj Al-Na'san, the chairman of Mughir municipal council said, in a press release, that settlers from Adey Ad, to the northeast of the village, attacked the village's cultivated land lots.

He said that the settlers broke into the land, cut trees, and stole olive crops, adding that the Israeli occupation authority forbids entry of Palestinian farmers into those lands unless with a permit at the olive harvesting season only.
