The Muslim Brotherhood offshoot in Jordan the Islamic Action Front dismissed four of its members after they disregarded the decision to boycott the country's parliamentary elections scheduled for November 9.

According to the spokesman of the Muslim Brotherhood's political arm Jamil Abu Bakr the group's committee  expelled four members namely  Mohammed Masaad, Madallah al-Tarawneh, Aref Abu-Eid and Ahmed al-Qadah and are still looking into the membership of three other members who were also breaching the party's boycott

The group had decided to boycott the polls in protest to a new law reducing the number of seats for lawmakers in urban areas, where it has influence and in turn increased seats from the rural areas with government supporting tribes .
