A number of activists launched a new page on the social networking site Facebook in solidarity with the 70 Muslim Brotherhood members arrested in Alexandria at dawn Tuesday.

According to the activists the MB detainees were arrested in an effort to hinder the MB's campaigning in the upcoming elections. The page highlights that the group enjoys much popularity and this worries the ruling regime which has proved that it is unable to engage in free and fair elections

The page displays much of the MB news shown in the media and concentrates on offering updated news reports including reports by the Qatari Al Jazeera television.

It highlights that the Egyptian regime is quick to use security against all who call for reform
