The National Association for Change (NAC), is studying the idea of forming a parallel parliament of the political powers and the opposition’s prominent figures.

Ikhwanweb was informed that a meeting with members of the NAC was held at the office of Ayman Nour, founder of Al-Ghad party, in response to the “fraud” of the parliamentary elections. The meeting was attended by members of the NAC such as Abdel Halim Qandil, general-coordinator of Kefaya Movement, George Isaac, Salah Adly, Dr. Ahmed Darrag, Abdel Megid El-Mehelmy and Dr. Ashraf Balbaa.

The sources stated that Ayman Nour suggested choosing three people from each governorate for the members of parliament not to be less than a hundred people including public figures, political activists and partisan leaders.

Participants agreed to join the December 12, 2010 demonstration which the NAC and the Kefaya Movement invited all political trends to join.
