Official count confirms 21 deaths and 97 injuries in Alexandria’s deadly church blasts

The Ministry of Health has announced that the last official count has revealed that the number of victims in the deadly blasts outside an Alexandria church is 21 with 97 injuries.

The Ministry of Health has announced that the last official count has revealed that the number of victims in the deadly blasts outside an Alexandria church is 21 with 97 injuries.

The ministry confirmed that those injured are currently being treated in hospitals in Alexandria with 4 cases being transferred to the capital, Cairo.

Thirty-one patients remain in hospitals east of the city while 18 were discharged in stable condition.

Other patients were treated in numerous hospitals including the University of Alexandria Hospital, Victoria Hospital, Virgin Mary Hospital, Saints Hospital and the Laurent Hospital.
