Dr. Mohamed El-Beltagy, former secretary-general of the 2005 Muslim Brotherhood parliamentary bloc, affirmed the end of the necessary preparations for the people’s parliament are underway. He pointed out that the next few days would witness the process of completing and reviewing the suggested names to be announced by the end of this week.

El-Beltagy said that the Preparations Committee will only have to finish preparing the headquarters of the people’s parliament. He pointed out that the committee has already distributed the roles and responsibilities and prepared an initial list of the suggested names of the participating MPs and the true representatives of the people.

The Preparations Committee of the people’s parliament include former MPs like: Dr. El-Beltagy, Saad Aboud, Mustafa Bakry and Alaa Abdel Monem, as well as representatives of the National Association for Change and other national entities.
