A new list from Egypt’s Prosecutor General with names of 23 persons banned from travelling or trading their assets was issued to the Stock Market.

A new list from Egypt’s Prosecutor General with names of 23 persons banned from travelling or trading their assets was issued to the Stock Market.

According to a statement from Egypt's Bourse the list contains names of former senior ministers, businessmen and their families. It added however that the freezing of assets does not include other shareholders' stakes in the companies.

Topping the list were former Prime Minister Ahmed Nazif and former Finance Minister Boutros Ghali.

Other names included business tycoons their wives and children namely:

Mohamed Magdi Rasekh, brother in law of Alaa Mubarak.

Mahmoud Yehia Ali El-Gammal, father in law of Gamal Mubarak.

Mohamed Abul-Enein, businessman and parliament member; and the owners of listed companies

Safwan Sabet, owner of Juhayna Food Company.

Raouf Ghabour, owner of Ghabour Auto.
