Authorities at Salloum Land Port prevented a number of students from the convoy of the Human Relief Agency in Egypt ’s Doctor’s Syndicate from crossing into Libyan territories, alleging that their status in the National Duty is not clear.

Dr. Rizk added that the travel ban list which was issued for a number of people during Mubarak’s regime is still in force and has not been abolished despite the announcement of the Ministry of Interior to cancel it.

“Freedom of movement and travel is guaranteed to all citizens, however the national security services, formerly state security, continues to manipulate the freedom of Egyptian citizens," he added.
