Deputy Chairman for the Muslim Brotherhood | (MB), Eng. Khairat el Shater casted his vote in the second day of the parliamentary elections at Sayeda Nafeesa Primary School in Cairo.

El Shater stood patiently in line awaiting his turn  into the polling stations. “It is significant that the rule of law be respected concerning entrance into the polling stations”, he asserted.

In a statement to the press, he said, “The large voters turnout reveals the people’s true motivation, which was suppressed for decades during the reign of Mubarak and his regime where people were silenced and suppressed and deprived of simplest and most legitimate rights"

He added: “It is pleasing to witness the elections running smoothly with little hindrances; I personally have seen nothing to prove otherwise today”.
