Ghad Party leader, Dr. Ayman Nour described violence in downtown Cairo between Copts and security officers as dangerous and unacceptable. "violence either by protestors or the military must be rejected", he stressed. In a statement to Ikhwanweb, Nour stressed that Sunday's clashes should handeled by civil law without turning to more emergency laws. "The problem needs to be wisely and calmly but sternly addressed. The rule of law should be applied, and through legal channels the issue will be solved", he stressed. |
