The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), declares  its condemnation of the heavy-handed assaults which took place against protestors  camped out outside the Egyptian Cabinet building, and the forceful method used to disperse the crowds.

FJP called on all factions to demonstrate restraint. "We call on all to remember their patriotic duty and immediately end the clashes. These events are without doubt an effort to thwart democracy and the parliament's electoral process which reflects  the will of the people" the statement read.

FJP also called on SCAF to move quickly to end the attacks and the volley of stones thrown at the protestors from the buildings rooftops. "It is imperative that immediate investigations take place as soon as possible and announced to the public".

"We call on the people to pay no attention to any efforts by numerous elements to drag the nation into further sedition which will hinder the peaceful transition of power expected to take place once the parliamentary elections are completed".
