Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) MP, Seham Al-Gamal, submitted an inquiry in parliament questioning the Education Minister on the issue of school curricula failing to mention the  January 25 Revolution and stories of the martyrs who sacrificed their lives reclaiming long lost rights and freedoms.

She called for the immediate inclusion of the Revolution in school syllabuses; and stressed that, "It is important that new generations learn of this revolution which succeeded in giving the people a chance to live a free and dignified life".
