Press Release No. 10 of Dr. Morsi Central Campaign
Cairo on Friday, May 25, 2012 at 09:00 (07:00 GMT)
After 90% of ballots are counted, results indicate a polarizing run-off is necessary, between a new leadership that promises a complete change to the old corrupt ways and a bright future for Egypt, and a member of the old guard harking to the Mubarak-era.

Hours after the start of the vote-counting process, and with approximately 90% of the results from provinces across Egypt already in, Dr. Mohamed Morsi, the Muslim Brotherhood’s presidential candidate, has maintained the lead ahead of all other candidates in terms of vote numbers. According to the tally of available vote counts, it seems certain that there will have to be a run-off between Dr. Mohamed Morsi and Ahmed Shafiq. Freedom and Justice Party leaders and the electoral campaign of Dr. Mohamed Morsi, will hold a press conference, on Friday evening, to announce the latest developments. The date and location of the press conference is to be announced later, at the campaign headquarters and by email.
