Dr. Essam El-Erian, Vice Chairman of the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP), rejected as fabricated fables false ‘news’ reported on Al-Youm Al-Sabea newspaper’s website alleging that the FJP is holding consultations with political parties and a number of public figures on forming the next government.

Erian further affirmed that forming the government is the responsibility of the elected president, not any other authority.

He also denied rumors suggesting that the FJP has issued statements or press releases regarding its president-elect or his constitutional oath of office.

The FJP’s Vice President called on the media to investigate the accuracy of and commit to objectivity in what they published, so they would not circulate false information and statements that have no basis in truth.
