Freedom and Justice Party Statement on Administrative Court Decision in Constituent Assembly Disbanding Case

The Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) affirmed that the Administrative Court’s decision in the Constituent Assembly (CA) dissolution case represents a new meeting point of all Egyptian society – with its political parties, trade unions, various authorities, factions, opinions, leanings and currents, so we can together produce a draft constitution that reflects Egypt and ensures achievement of the demands of the revolution: social justice, freedom and equality; and establishment of democracy – for a dignified life for all the Egyptian people, who suffered a lot of injustice, corruption and tyranny.

The FJP, once again, invites all political and societal groups, movements and parties, as well as all the patriotic people of Egypt who have suggestions for amendments, additions or new insights that may support the constitution-writing endeavors, to submit these visions to the CA and to participate positively and effectively in order to achieve what we all aspire to: a draft constitution with the greatest societal consensus.
