Muslim Brotherhood: Free World Sides with Just Cause of Palestine at UN General Assembly

Egypt Muslim Brotherhood hails upgrading Palestine to an observer non-member State at the United Nations as a historic achievement for Palestine.

The Muslim Brotherhood congratulated the honorable Palestinian people and their leadership, government and the resistance on a historic achievement as the UN General Assembly approved upgrading the representation of Palestine to an observer state, supported by 138 countries who voted in favor of the decision.

In a statement, the Brotherhood said: "This international approval, by such a large proportion of members of the UN General Assembly, affirms that the free world is siding with the just cause of Palestine. It is also an important step on the road to the restoration of usurped Palestinian rights".

The Brotherhood expressed hope that this decision would also be a step on the road to completing Palestinian reconciliation in order to unite efforts to liberate occupied territories and restore usurped rights.
