During his meeting with the Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Youth Secretaries, Dr. Saad Katatni, FJP Chairman, stressed that "The FJP needs young people, because of their energy, vitality and creativity. The FJP will enable them to take the highest posts and do the most important duties in the next phase.

"The role of youth is not just about sports. They have an important duty in the construction and management of state institutions. Therefore, they should be truly empowered, in order for them to serve and benefit the homeland and help it achieve comprehensive rejuvenation and renaissance. This is why the FJP seeks to activate youth cadres within its ranks. Hence, the Secretariat's plan focuses on young people as its main resource."

For his part, Ayman Abdel-Ghani, FJP Youth Secretary, said: "The FJP considers itself an added value for the homeland. We compete for power as a means to carrying out our mission – to build society on the basis of a moderate, enlightened Islamic reference.

"FJP ranks boast nearly 250,000 young people – the largest youth participation in all parties nationwide. The Youth Secretariat must provide them with all that will help them serve their purpose and do their mission.

"In the coming period, the Secretariat’s priorities include starting implementation of several activities, events, initiatives and projects, and establishing a youth academy to be tasked with preparing and training young people to work on rebuilding and creating the renaissance of the homeland."
