FJP: 'No to Violence' Million-Man March to Urge Peaceful Expression of Opinion
As ousted regime holdovers enlist the help of thugs and criminals and gear up to try and topple the first civilian President (or threaten a civil war), elected in Egypt’s first free and fully democratic poll, Islamists hold a pro-peace public rally in Cairo.

Ayman Abdul-Ghani, Freedom and Justice Party (FJP) Youth Secretary, said: "Our ‘No to Violence and Yes to Peace’ million-man march and rally today (Friday) is for the protection of the Revolution. It calls for peaceful expression of opinion, rejection of violence and removing political cover from those who want to drag the country into a spiral of violence, chaos and sabotage.

We urge all patriotic citizens not to join in any violent incidents, so as to foil plots by certain parties prepared to shed the blood of Egyptians and destroy the homeland’s resources.

"Today’s demonstration and rally includes sustained supplication before sunset prayers, asking God to protect Egypt and its people and the blood of all Egyptians. This will be attended by Islamist leaders and scholars of Al-Azhar, the Islamic Legitimate Body for Rights and Reformation (ILBRR), the ‘Shura Council of Scholars’ and other Islamic organizations participating in Friday’s activities."
