Muslim Brotherhood Statement Condemns Attempts to Spread Division, Strife Among Yemeni People

The Muslim Brotherhood is following with concern the developing situation in Yemen, and the heinous attempts to separate its south, at a time when the Yemeni people are living in extremely difficult and harsh conditions, while the whole country is facing great dangers that threaten its unity, independence and stability.
The group affirms its unequivocal rejection of any violation of the territorial integrity of Yemen and appeals to the Yemeni people to stand together, united as one, to block the attempts to break up their homeland. It also appeals to all parties concerned, regionally and internationally, to intensify emergency assistance to Yemen.
The group warns of schemes now emerging, aiming to divide countries in the region and ignite strife among their peoples in order to weaken them and end their role, in favor of rapacious colonial projects.
