The arrest of Sheikh Raed Salah, Al-Aqsa Mosque Imam and the leader of Aqsa defenders, confirms the victory of the Palestinian people's struggle against Zionist arrogance at the gates of Aqsa Mosque compound, and a new evidence of the bitterness of defeat that Netanyahu, his government and treacherous supporters everywhere are now tasting. This bitterness will not be diluted with the arrest of Sheikh Raed Salah.
Raed Salah, with his continued struggle and endeavors, will remain a symbol of the defense of Aqsa and the icon of the Jerusalem uprising, inside and around Al-Aqsa. His arrest will only increase the intifada's force and determination to continue the epic struggle.
The struggle of Sheikh Raed Salah and the people of Jerusalem and Palestine will continue to be the strong rock which defeats all brutal attacks and malicious schemes against Islam's third holiest site.
