Nine Aqrab Detainees Restart Open Hunger Strike

|
A number of political prisoners at the notorious Aqrab Prison announced a hunger strike as of Sunday, September 17, 2017, in protest against the extremely squalid and oppressive conditions in the military coup regime's harsh jail. They are also protesting the abuses dealt them by State Security Officer Ahmed Saif and the Investigation Officer Ahmed Abul-Wafa, under the direct supervision of Major General Mohamed Al-Kholisi.
The hunger strikers are:
Dr. Mohamed Ali Bishr
Dr. Abdul-Rahman Al-Barr
Dr. Essam Al-Erian
Dr. Mohamed Wahdan
Dr. Mohamed Saad Eliwa
Essam Sultan
Dr. Abdullah Shehata
Gehad Al-Haddad
Dr. Ahmed Aref |
