Egypt: MB Chairman Offers Condolences On Mahfouz’s Death
Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Mohamed Mahdi Akef posted his condolences to the Egyptian people on the death of Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz who died Wednesday August 30,2006.

Muslim Brotherhood Chairman Mohamed Mahdi Akef posted his condolences to the Egyptian people on the death of Nobel Laureate Naguib Mahfouz who died Wednesday August 30,2006. In his condolence cable, the MB Chairman praised Mahfouz as an authority on thought and literature in Egypt and the world throughout the past fifty years . Akef is to mourn the death of Mahfouz at a funeral procession arranged downtown Cairo in the coming hours. |
