Akef: Palestinians Voted for Islamists

The Muslim Brotherhood’s Leader, Muhammad Akef, said Hamas’ win in the Palestinian parliamentary polls echoes the Palestinian approval on the Islamic ideology for settling the Palestinian issue.  Akef asserted that Hamas success is of help for both Islamic and Arab worlds along with Palestine.

The Muslim Brotherhood’s leader conveyed his regards to the Palestinians who demonstrated their ability to mange their affaires in a civilized manner. He, moreover, invoked Allah to guide all Palestinian powers to achieve the best for the Palestinians. He, in addition, stressed the need for disregarding the American and Israeli reactions towards Hamas’ achievement of majority in the vote.
