Stage 2 parliamentary election in al Isma’ilia
In an incident, which gives an overview as well as an insight into events of the first day of stage 2, and summarise the mood and the general pictures of the parliamentary election, one of the thugs who support the NDP candidate in Isma’ilia Governorate had attacked Mr Khalaf Mohamed Hosain, the representative of the MB candidate in front of the ward at Al Zera’ah (agricultural) School, in second division of Isma’ilia inflecting severe injuries and deep cuts in his neck. The thug was seen using a transporters car with a number plate 539630 Assiut.
Same assaults happened at Taha Hosain School, Al-Moshear School and the Shohada’s (martyrs) School in Al Esma’ilia Governorate which lead to the injury of at least 15 of the MB candidates and supporters, some with serious injuries, who have filed complaints with the Chief of Governorate Security asking him for protection. At the same time, Mr Ihab Abo Ziyd, the Chief of Intelligence for the Public Possessions  
Has prevented voters, especially veiled women from entering the polling station at Al Fateh School to cast their votes in a bid to rig the election in favour of the NDP candidates Messrs Mahmoud Othman and Ahmed Abo Ziyed.
