Dozens of people in the area of Al-Mahrousa, have demonstrated Tuesday evening 21.04 in front of the police department protesting against the increased bullying and the influence of drug traffickers in the region.

Residents expressed their dissatisfaction regarding this issue as they stop the people walking in the street, use dogs and light arms to terrorize the residents there and attack them under the polices’ eyes.

They also emphasized their repeated trials to get rid of criminal acts, as many people submitted complaints to the security department in Alexandria to eliminate this phenomenon or to control it, however those complaints did not succeed in stopping it until yesterday when two people were attacked the thing that made people protest in front of the police station.

Almohamadi Sayed Ahmed (MP on Raml District - member of the MB Parliamentary Bloc), in an exclusive statement to Ikhwanweb, criticized the continual of prioritizing political security over criminal security and the lack of security for citizens within the society as he warned against the continuous bullying acts in the Egyptian streets.

He stressed that he is following the matter and will give the security organs the opportunity to control the situation, especially after receiving assurances on the security movements, and in case the control failed he will resort to use his parliamentarian means to protect citizens.
