OCCUPIED JERUSALEM, A large number of Israeli policemen stormed the main building of the Aqsa Mosque in occupied Jerusalem in order to remove a Palestinian flag waving on its top.

Eyewitnesses said that Israeli policemen were deployed throughout the Mosque's courtyards while a number of them removed the Palestinian flag.

An Israeli military chopper was seen hovering over the Mosque during the raid.
